Senior Project Manager

We are seeking a full-time senior project manager with electrical-project experience. The senior PM will manage commercial and industrial electrical projects from post-bid through final completion, develop business with new clients, and maintain relationships with the existing client base.



MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

·        Degree in construction management or related field

·        15+ years of electrical PM experience

·        Knowledge of all aspects of construction, industry practices, processes, and standards

·        Proficiency in preparing take-offs and estimates for change orders

·        Strong ability to read and interpret plans and specifications

·        In-depth knowledge of the NFPA codes

·        Strong problem-solving skills

·        Familiarity with Word, Excel, Procore, Bluebeam and Accubid software

·        Ability to multi-task and perform in fast-paced environments

·        Exceptional interpersonal skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

·        BS in construction management

·        OSHA 30 certification

·        Large project experience ranging from 10 – 50 million

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·        Assist with bid-process management.

·        Analyze blueprints/specifications; review proposals/project requirements, and coordinate material procurement.

·        Ensure compliance with company policies and federal/state regulations.

·        Provide status updates, and maintain records.

·        Oversee material requisition, submittal compilation, purchase orders, on-site job walk-throughs, change orders, requests for information, pay application support, and closeout documents.

·        Implement, maintain, and control project schedules and budgets.

·        Manage documentation control of projects and submittal of requests for information.

·        Plan, direct, and coordinate project activities with the director of project management to ensure goals and objectives are met within prescribed priorities, timelines, and budget constraints.

·        Develop a project staffing plan, and establish a project completion schedule.

·        Regularly confer with the director of project management. keeping management informed of the project progress.

·        Foster and maintain relationships with owners, general contractors, and other key stakeholders to facilitate future business opportunities.

·        Participate in rotating on-call schedule.

·        Perform other duties and responsibilities requested by the director of project management.
