PCG Announces the Addition of Scott Prados and Leighton Ventura to Accounting & Finance Search Division

PCG-Announces

PCG is pleased to announce the addition of Scott Prados and Leighton Ventura to the firm’s direct hire Accounting & Finance search division. This move comes as part of a planned succession due to the pending retirement of the leading accounting & finance recruiter in PCG history, combined with a strategic growth initiative.

“When Dan Prados broke the news to us that he planned to retire by the end of 2026, we knew our clients, candidates, and remaining accounting recruiter (Julie Montalbano) deserved to partner with the best to try to build on the legacy Dan had built.” said JimSchneider, PCG’s President who originally joined the firm as an accounting recruiter. “We were blown away by both Scott and Leighton during the interview process. Both have an incredible level of emotional intelligence, energy, and foundational understanding of accounting. Both are a great fit for our culture of caring service. Our leadership team prayerfully considered the path forward and felt that bringing both of these professionals on board would be the best way to maintain our current presence in the market and give us the opportunity to expand our services to clients and candidates we simply hadn’t had the bandwidth to serve in the past.”

Scott Prados has grown up at PCG, having attended firm functions his whole life. A second generation accounting recruiter, Scott earned his undergraduate degree in accounting from LSU after graduating from Jesuit High School. Scott has worked in relationship-driven client service roles before joining PCG.

Leighton Ventura joins PCG after years working in the accounting industry. He has worked for a regional CPA firm and industry positions with large, sophisticated accounting departments in the industrial, legal, and healthcare spaces. Leighton earned his undergraduate degree in accounting and has a masters in data analytics. He graduated from Brother Martin High School.

Scott and Leighton are being immersed in the PCG recruiter development program and will be working alongside Jim, Dan, and Julie throughout the remainder of 2026. When Dan retires, Julie will be the firm’s senior leader of accounting search, alongside Jim as managing partner. While neither Scott nor Leighton will work exclusively within a specific territory, Scott is slated to focus on cementing and expanding the firm’s reach in the Greater New Orleans area, and  Leighton will spearhead efforts to expand the firm’s presence in Baton Rouge, Lafayette, and Thibodaux/Houma.
