Senior Accountant

Salary $65-80k

Summary:

Work directly with the Controller, CFO and accounting staff to achieve accounting objectives.

The ideal candidate will have experience with monthly closing processes, account reconciliations and analysis, and journal entries.

Qualifications:

·        2+ years of solid G/L accounting experience in public accounting or a For-profit industry

·        Bachelor’s degree in Accounting REQUIRED; CPA or in-process preferred

·        Proficient in Microsoft Office Products, especially strong with EXCEL

·        Cost Accounting/Cost Tracking experience a Plus

 Responsibilities:

·        Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles

·        Work closely with Controller and other team members to complete the month-end close in a timely manner

·        Oversee payables and receivables

·        Reconcile key balance sheet and expense line items

·        Research and analyze expense variances for company management
