Project Manager – Civil Construction
The Personnel Consulting Group is seeking a high-performing Project Manager on behalf of a premier, well-established heavy civil contractor in the Greater New Orleans area. Recognized for their strong track record of success and steady growth, our client offers a dynamic environment for a construction professional looking to take full ownership of high-impact civil projects from kickoff to completion.
What You’ll Do
- Project Operations: Oversee day-to-day civil construction execution, material quantities, logistics, and field logistics.
- Financial Controls: Drive job cost forecasting, track budget performance, and manage change orders to protect profitability.
- Schedule Execution: Build, monitor, and adjust master schedules to keep projects on deadline and within scope.
- Key Liaison: Partner directly with field leadership, subcontractors, and project owners to maintain quality and alignment.
What You Bring
- Experience: 2+ years of project management experience in civil construction.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
- Technical Skills: Strong background in quantity takeoffs, cost forecasting, project scheduling, and contract administration.
