Position Summary

The Network Engineer will be primarily responsible for customer network provisioning, customer support, network implementation, network security implementation, and other duties associate with the operations of DartPoints’ public and private network infrastructure.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Network services provisioning for client’s customer base
  • Network support of client’s installed customer base
  • Product development and maintenance of network product suite
  • Escalation resource for network services customer base
  • Ongoing training of Network Operations Center personnel
  • Maintain a working level of proficiency with all client’s services
  • When applicable, assist pre-sales efforts, which includes:
  • Discovery and definition of customer application requirements
  • Design of customer application solutions and preparation of statements of work
  • Create and maintain accurate documentation of provisioned services and resources



  • Associates degree or equivalent job experience
  • Industry recognized Network / Cisco Certifications (Network+, CCNA, CCNP) preferred
  • Strong network engineering, maintenance, and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong Cisco background
  • Excellent people and proactive verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail, making and keeping commitments and meeting deadlines
  • Sense of urgency, positive “can-do” attitude, self-motivated


  • Works with network systems such as: Cisco (ASR, NCS, Nexus, Catalyst, and ASA platforms), Fortinet FortiGate and FortiSwitch platforms, and Juniper (MX, EX and SRX)
  • Solid understanding of BGP, ISIS, MPLS, Segment Routing, BGP EVPN VXLAN, Data Center Network Architecture (Nexus Spine/Leaf/Border Leaf)
  • VMware network virtualization experience a plus

Salary: $100-$120K
