Human Resources Manager

Our closely-held Baton Rouge client is seeking an experienced HR leader as they look to formalize their HR department to accelerate and scale their organization. This role will offer the opportunity to upgrade, design and implement policies and procedures while also exposing this successful manager to operational and strategic leadership. To be successful in this role, one must be a professional, personable fit that collaborates well with operational leaders across a variety of locations, interpersonal skill levels, and have the ability to set goals and execute on them. The HR Manager will be the trusted leader that upper management relies upon to be accountable for finding solutions as the organization continues to grow. This organization has between 50-100 employees and will continue to grow geographically in head-count in the years to come.

The HR Manager will be responsible for all aspects of HR, including:

–       Onboarding/offboarding

–       Recruiting

–       Payroll submission

–       Coordinating with external parties to resolve issues (workers comp, legal, etc.)

–       Providing strategic vision

Background requirements:

–       Demonstrated knowledge of strategic decision making

–       Must have “hands on” experience in the daily details of a standard HR function.

–       Demonstrated experience streamlining processes & improving workflows
