Salary $150-175k + bonus

SUMMARY:

The Controller will oversee the financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, implementation of financial controls, and compliance with regulatory requirements. This position plays a crucial role in supervising the accounting team and contributing to the company’s financial strategy. The Controller will work closely with the CFO.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·        Prepare and analyze financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flows.

·        Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with the company’s financial goals and the operational needs of large industrial projects.

·        Implement and maintain strong internal financial controls. Ensure compliance with GAAP, and other regulatory standards.

·        Manage and mentor the accounting team, fostering professional growth.

·        Serve as one of the liaisons with external auditors, manage the audit processes, and address any findings.

·        Oversee accounting, budgeting, auditing, cash management, payroll, and asset management.

·        Collaborate with other departments to support the financial aspects of project execution, ensuring resource allocation meets operational goals.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

CPA highly preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

·        Minimum of 8 years of progressive Accounting leadership experience, with at least 4 years in a similar role (Controller, Accounting Manager, Director of Finance, etc.).

·        Strong understanding GAAP.

·        Must have substantial, prior experience managing an Accounting staff/department.

·        Expertise in Construction or industrial services is highly preferred.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

·        Proficient in financial management software, including ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, Vista, Procore), and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
