Construction Services Manager

The Service Manager manages, estimates and coordinates service and/or small contract projects and

oversees their progress in a timely and cost-effective manner.

The Service Manager is responsible for small contract and service projects which includes quoting/sales,

electrical problem solving, financial accountability, quality control, and risk management.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

– Proactively search and develop new customer relationships while maintain existing clients.

– Quoting various job types with operational and financial accuracy.

– Ability to problem solve various routine or complex electrical problems.

– Preparing materials and assisting service electricians with the completion of projects.

– Initiate and maintain communication with the client to facilitate project activities, confirming

delivery dates and lead times for materials and equipment.

– Identify and order material needed for service calls.

– Learn how to utilitize ServiceTrade for quotes, scheduling, dispatching, and price management

– Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

– Other duties may include participating in business development and marketing functions.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

– Knowledge of electrical methods and best practices

– Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office

– Strong skills in the areas of math and estimating

– Ability to read and interpret construction documents

– Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-pace environment

– Must be organized and detail oriented

– Must have a pleasant phone demeanor and the ability to demonstrate good customer service and

phone skills

– Must possess a genuine empathy for the customers

– Must be able to work with other employees, management, and technicians to get the job done

correctly and in the best interest of the customers, while abiding by company policies and

procedures.
