Chief Financial Officer

Salary $100-120k

Summary:

Our Non-Profit Foundation is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to oversee the Foundation’s fiscal operations.

The CFO will lead the following areas: Accounting/Finance, Budgeting, oversight of Investments with the investment firm, oversight of Compliance and oversight of Grantee fiscal compliance.

The CFO will play a critical role in partnering with the Executive Director in strategic decision making and the COO with operations. 

 

Education and Experience Required: 

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA or MBA degree preferred.

• Prior bank operations and financial management experience preferred.

• Strong Budgeting and Cash management experience Required.

• Experience with a non-profit environment highly preferred. Grantee fiscal compliance understanding.

• Must demonstrate an understanding of Portfolio investment strategies and practices.

Strong Financial analysis skills necessary.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Quickbooks.

 

Skills:

• Must have excellent organizational skills and work habits.

• Strong attention to detail, follow-up and ability to meet deadlines.

• Efficient in handling multiple projects simultaneously.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Skilled at working with a wide variety of stakeholder groups and broad array of personalities.
