CAD/ BIM Drafter

Position Purpose/Summary
The BIM & CAD Drafter is committed to supporting Louisiana Bridge Builders by providing drafting and design
support during the planning, design, and construction of the project.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
1. Supports on the Drafting portion of the Project.
2. Supports on the Quantity Takeoff activities of the Project.
3. Supports construction during the execution stage.
4. Identifies technical risks and participates in the preparation of risk reports.
5. Participates in the review of the Project budget forecasts, providing the necessary technical part for its
realization.
6. Establishes and implements the design management strategy and other technical procedures for the project.
7. Support in the execution stage (project assistance team to resolve nonconformities, RFI with designers and
unexpected events during construction).
8. Collaborates within the technical department, as well as with other departments.
9. Guarantees the correct transmission of design information to the entire project team.
10. Performing all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications
At a minimum, the BIM & CAD Drafter must have a high school diploma, or equivalent, along with 3+ years of
engineering/drafting related experience. Experience in engineering/drafting within the Construction industry is
preferred as well as experience working with MicroStation, REVIT, and a multi-cultural environment.
