SUMMARY:

Well-established, small law firm in New Orleans, seeks accounting/finance professional to oversee firm’s Accounting matters.

DUTIES:

Handle our firm’s accounting, AP, AR, budgeting, and billing. 

Maintain all trust and escrow accounts and oversee disbursements.

Handles collection matters, when appropriate.

REQUIREMENTS:

Accounting degree highly prefered but not required if strong General Ledger skills.

Bachelors degree in Business required, unless previous, similar, law firm experience.

4+ years of full-charge accounting experience.

Excellent attention to detail.

Multi-tasking abilities.

Trustworthy and reliable.

Professional appearance and attitude with Great communication skills.

Excellent Computer skills, including strong Excel skills.

Hours generally 8:30 to 5:00 or 9:00-5:30. Some flexibility allowed as needed.
