This person provides support to the Controller and to Operations. This position is critical in processing sales orders, issuing purchase orders, job cost review, and inventory management. All candidates must be highly organized, detail-oriented. This position reports directly to the Controller.
Duties:
· Transcribe quotes to customers and create accurate sales orders.
· Generate purchase orders from sales orders timely while ensuring accuracy.
· Assist operations with coordinating with vendors to facilitate order fulfillment.
· Complete and submit vendor credit applications.
· Assist with general administrative projects and operational support as assigned.
· Review job costs for all closed sales orders to ensure accuracy and notify the Controller of discrepancies.
· Review all closed parts tickets for accuracy.
· Coordinate inventory count preparation, scheduling, and documentation.
· Prepare monthly journal entry support and documentation for review by the Controller.
· Assist with additional accounting and financial reporting tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
· Associate degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
· Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping experience preferred.
· Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
· Experience with ERP or accounting software preferred.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
· High level of accuracy, professionalism, and confidentiality.
