Senior Identity Engineer – Microsoft Entra ID / Okta Migration

Overview: Seeking experienced Identity Engineers to support identity modernization initiatives. These consultants will participate in enterprise identity transformation projects focused on migrating organizations from legacy and third-party identity platforms (specifically Okta) to Microsoft Entra ID.
Location: Prefer US-based resources.
Duration: Initial 3–4 month engagement with potential extension to 6–12 months.
Preferred Start Date: August 3, 2026
Required Technical Skills
• Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
• Single Sign-On (SSO) implementation and troubleshooting
• Identity provider migration experience
• Okta administration and engineering
• Federation technologies (SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect)
• Conditional Access
• MFA implementation
• Enterprise directory services integration
Preferred Skills
• Entra ID Governance
• Hybrid identity (Entra Connect)
• Privileged Identity Management (PIM)
• B2B / External Identity
• PowerShell automation
• Microsoft 365 identity architecture
• User lifecycle management and provisioning
Key Responsibilities
• Lead or support migrations from Okta and other third-party IdPs to Microsoft Entra ID.
• Design and implement enterprise SSO solutions.
• Configure and troubleshoot authentication integrations.
• Execute identity modernization activities with minimal oversight.
• Validate migration readiness and support production cutovers.
• Participate in architecture discussions with software vendor and customer stakeholders.
• Produce implementation documentation and knowledge transfer materials.
Required Experience
• 5+ years of identity and access management experience.
• Demonstrated experience on enterprise-scale Entra ID or Azure AD projects.
• Prior Okta migration experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to work directly with enterprise customers in a technical delivery role.
