Mechanical Engineer

The Personnel Consulting Group is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to lead full-scale engineering and design projects from concept to completion. In this role, you will drive the infrastructure design for critical industrial and commercial facilities within a collaborative, fast-paced team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- EPC Design: Lead full-lifecycle Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) packages and construction bid proposals.
- Process & Piping: Develop P&IDs, specify valves/instruments, and perform pump and pipe sizing.
- Building Systems: Calculate HVAC loads, design ductwork, and engineer facility plumbing systems.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with cross-functional engineering disciplines and Project Managers to ensure regulatory and client compliance.
Qualifications
- Education & Licensure: BS in Mechanical Engineering + LAPELS registration as a Professional Engineer (PE)
- Industrial Experience: 5 to 20 years of hands-on design experience preferably with industrial facilities (petrochemical processing and storage facilities required) and or port facilities and marine terminals.
- Commercial Bonus: Prior experience designing mechanical systems for commercial buildings is a strong plus.
- Software: Fluent in MS Office (Excel/Word) and standard engineering design tools.
